Ever wondered what it takes to be an entrepreneur?

The professional and personal challenges, the high and lows, the failures and the success?

Get your hands dirty at Houston's first ever Maker Edition Startup Weekend! This will be like other Startup Weekends, but it's all about building a business around a physical product.

Come pitch your startup idea and receive feedback from peers! Teams organically form around the top ideas (as determined by popular vote) and then it’s a 54 hour frenzy of business model creation, making, designing, and market validation. The weekend will culminate with presentations in front of local entrepreneurial leaders -- a great opportunity for critical feedback!

If you've ever thought about starting a business around physical products, from electronics to fashion, we'd love to see you! Register now for the best weekend of your life!

What is Startup Weekend?
